Agniveer- Join the Indian Air Force & Pursue a Challenging and Bright Career”

3. Description of activity-

On 9th February 2023 an orientation lecture on “Agniveer- Join the Indian Air Force & Pursue a Challenging and Bright Career” was organized in Sadguru Gadage Maharaj College Karad. The chief guest and main guide of this lecture were Wing Commander Dineshkumar Yadav (Commanding officer, 6 ASC, Mumbai) A company with SGT Hamir Singh Shekhawat and CPL Hridesh Kumar. This lecture was conducted in the presence of Principle Dr. Mohan Rajmane and the Administrative officer of 19 Maharashtra Battalion NCC Karad Col. D.K. Jha.

             On this occasion, Wing Commander Dineshkumar Yadav gave complete information on the opportunities in Indian Air Force as an officer and Agni Vayu  (Airman). In this presentation, he explained various entries for joining IAF as an officer in flying technical and non-technical branches. Also, he gave detailed information on Agneepath's scheme for joining IAF as Agni Veer Vayu. He guided the cadets and students on the complete selection procedure for Agni Veer Vayu at the end of the session he also clarified the doubt of the student.

1.      NCC cadets and students got to know about the career opportunities in IAF

2.       They were motivated to join IAF as officers and Agni Veer Vayu

3.       All their doubts about if and Agni Veer Vayu where cleared

Mission Kashmir: A Different Medical Project Key guide- DR. Rahul Phase.

ACTIVITY- Mission Kashmir: A Different Medical Project Key guide- DR. Rahul Phase.

DATE AND VENUE- 4 OCT, 2022 Sadguru Gadage Maharaj College, Karad.

 This program was organized by 19 MAH BN NCC, Karad in the college  “Mission Kashmir –A different  Medical Project”. In this project, the DR. Phase and team shared their experiences in Kashmir under Army Force. This project was held in Kashmir. All NCC cadets were present at this event. Dr. Phase shared his experience in Kashmir with all NCC cadets. On this occasion the father of DR. Phase was present. Then vice-Principle Prof. Netaji Suryawanshi delivered a speech to the cadets about the situation in Kashmir and the motivational thoughts they shared with cadets.

Introductory speech by LT. Sandip Mahajan, and thanked by JUO Khushi Mulani. The event was attended by cadets of SGM college, YC college, and VC college at N.D. Patil Auditorium of SGM College Karad.

OUTCOMES-

1) The program is to be useful and inspirational.

2) The cadets understood the situation in Kashmir.

National Pollution Control day (Puneet Sagar)

2. Date and Venue-2^nd Dec, 2022, Pritisangam, Karad

3. Description of activity-

National pollution control day was organized on 2^nd December 2022 under the Puneet Sagar Abhiyan by the NCC cadets of SGM College and Y C College and VC College. On this occasion, Swachhata Abhiyan was conducted at Pritisangam, Karad. Cadets helped in collecting garbage and cleaning the bank of the river. They successfully collected almost 30 kg of garbage, waste which included mostly plastic bottles, wrappers, etc.

4. Outcomes

1) Cadets know the importance of cleanliness.

2) Cadets spread awareness about Puneet Sagar Abhiyan among other people.

3) Cadets helped in clearing the riverside and collected 30 kg of waste.

Constitution day, Martyr’s Day and National Cadet Corps day

2. Date and Venue-26^th Nov 2022, Sadguru Gadage Maharaj College, Karad

3. Description of activity-

Every year 26th November is celebrated as “Constitution Day” as India’s constitution was adopted on this day in 1949. This day also marks the memory of the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai in 2008.

This day was organized in SGM College, Karad On 26^th Nov 2022 in collaboration with NCC. Principal Dr. Mohan Rajmane conveyed the importance of constitution day to the cadets and students after the reading of the preamble of the constitution by students and staff Vice-Principal Prof. N. R. Suryawanshi delivered a speech highlighting the importance of “Shaheed Din” along with the staff, cadets and students paid tribute to the heroes who sacrificed their lives during the attacks.

4. Outcomes

1) Students and cadets learned about the importance of constitution day.

2) Students also remembered the heroes of 26/11 attacks and paid tribute to them.

National Unity Day, Unity Run

2. Date and Venue- 31st October 2022, Sadguru Gadage Maharaj College, Karad

3. Description of activity-

National Unity/Integrity Day is celebrated every year on 31st October, to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who had a major role in the political integration of India. This day makes the citizens of India aware of the role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, played in unifying all the princely states of India and making India the nation it is today. On this day the cadets and students of the SGM college 19 MAH BN NCC, Karad to place to preserve the unity and integrity of India. National unity run was conducted.

1) Students and cadets were made aware of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's role in unifying India
