3. Description
of activity-
To create
awareness among the students against the ill effects of narcotic drugs, the Nashamukt
Bharat Abhiyan program was organized in collaboration with the Assistant
Commissioner Social Welfare Satara on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
Day. The government of India has launched Nashamukt Abhiyan to free society from
addiction and drug abuse to take oath under Drug-Free India Mission.
The 'Say yes to
life, no to the drug' oath was jointly sworn by NCC, NSS and Women's Military
Academy and the Gymkhana Department of the college on 12th August 2022. The Principal of the college, Dr Mohan Rajmane give solemn attestation of
the oath to the NCC, NSS and Women's Military Academy, gymkhana and faculty. Subsequently
the Principal informed about the dangerous effects of addiction on health and
hygiene of students.
To devoid young college students from substance
that creates hinders in the growth and ability to reason, the college played
its role in educating and advising the young students against the harmful
effects of using drugs and spread awareness about it.
